23 September 2023 (Sat.) - 19 November 2023 (Sun.) 【Special Autumn Exhibition】 "Amulets, Stamps and Coins -Great small artefcts from the ancient Orient-”
Scarabs and amulets from ancient Egypt, cylinder and stamp seals from Mesopotamia, and coins from Anatolia are very small artefacts. They however convey to us enormous information about the society of the time, including politics, religion, economy, and people's daily lives. This exhibition introduces these tiny but great artefacts from The Ancient Orient Museum, Tokyo collection.
Note: During this period, the Collection Exhibition will be open to the public.
